viewing files of movie maker from vista to xp

I have windows xp and have a file from Vista with an ".mswmm" that i cant
open....how can i get my windows movie maker to view that and possibly open
in windows media player???

Vista Movie Maker .mswmm project files are
not compatible with Windows XP Movie Maker.

If you want to play the file on your XP machine...
Publish it to the .wmv format on your Vista machine.
Then you can play it in WMP on XP.
