wmf files

I am trying to save a ppt file as a wmf file. My ppt file is in the color
and I am viewing it in black and white. The wmf file needs to be in black
and white. In 2000 I just viewed it in black and white and saved it as a wmf
file, by every slide. It is not making the indivdual files black and white
they are staying colored. It is not working the same in 2003. How do I do
this in 2003. HELP!

Greyscale view only changes the screen view NOT the saved file. (There was a
bug in 2000 that did save in greyscale since "fixed")

Best bet is to use a batch conversion program to change all to greyscale,
irfanview is free and will certainly work for jpegs, not sure if it can
output wmf files.

Can't do it in PPT 2002 or 2003. If you have a copy of 2000 still around,
opening the file and doing the save as from there is the best bet.

Otherwise, you might try making a copy of the file and applying a black and
white color scheme. Then you can save as in color, but it will look B/W.

Batch conversion to B/W, as John suggested, is a good thing, but if your
file has a dark background (when viewed in color) and you need the WMFs to
have white backgrounds, this might be more trouble than it's worth. In that
case, I'd definitely use the alternate color scheme method.

This is one of my biggest frustrations with PPT.
