In just the last few days, when I plug in my Olympus to
download the pictures the Scanner and Camera Wizard comes
up and when I click on it the program does not start. It
had always worked before.
Computer sees my camera as a Disk Drive labled Olympus
which may explain why when I attempt to add the camera to
the "Scanners and Cameras" it says that it cannot
communicate with it. There is no disk with the camera as
it has "auto connect" which is supposed to eliminate the
need.
Any suggestions??

Just open the 'removable Olympus drive'. Your picture files are in it. At
least that is how my Olympus camera works. Once you get to where the pics
are...just doubleclick the little beggars and they will open in your default
picture viewer. You can also move them to any folder on your C drive.
