Wizard not loading program

I am haveing a problem with loading a file that was
downloaded. I brought down the patch file from MS for
fixing the problem in Windows 2000 for the sasser worm.
The file downloaded fine but with I go to insatll it there
is a proble. The files will unzip but when the "wizard"
window pops up it is on for about 1 sec and then stops.
The insatllation does not take place. I have tried this on
line and with a downloaded file.

This same problem has happened with a few other programs
but with others it has not.

Any ideas?
