I have just connected a Belkin Router to my laptop. All information tells me
I now have wireless connected. I still ccannot use internet on my lapyop
without cables connected. This was the reason I got wireless, to use my
lapyop in any room in the house. I am desperate for help.

First you need to Enable the Wireless on the Router Web Page and the
wireless on the Laptop.
To do that Type the IP address 192.16.8.2.1 on the IE page and access the
Router web interface and go through the Settings.
