Wireless networking

I have a belkin wireless router. One of my laptops will not connect properly
to it. I have gone through the router help and a user support specialist for
the laptop. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Does the laptop correctly identify the SSID of your wireless network >?

Also some Windows XP setups ( not fully updated ) cannot connect to
a wireless network using advanced (WPA2 ) encryption.

Without more details it's not possible to give you more directed help.

Not all wireless adapters support all encryption schemes. Check what the
laptop's adapter actually supports, and compare that with what the router is
presenting.

For example, one of my laptops will *only* connect with WPA, while others
connect happily with WPA-PSK. or WPA2.

You have to set the router to a scheme that all clients can accept, the
lowest common denominator.
