Hope somebody can help.!

Using WinXp Home with xp2.

Using MS wireless Elite Keyboard Model1011 and Intellipoint mouse explorer
2.0. with intellipoint 6.2 program.

in the event it becomes necessary to do a re-start after install or update
of a program or an my mouse freezes.

I have to do a cold start for the mouse to function properly. doing a
re-start freezes the pointer and the hour glass.

Cold start is the only way to enable the mouse again.

Has anybody run into this problem?. Hope somebody has a solution.Thank you.

Intellipoint 6.2 program is the latest update.

Are these connecting to the round (PS/2) connectors or to the square
(USB) connectors?

Removed PS2 Adapter and used USB Cable, solved the Problem.

Unless the USB to PS/2 adapter "came" with the mouse, it is "never"
guarrantied to work.
