Wireless Mooooose!!

Hey,

My dad is getting a laptop for xmas, and i thought i would buy him a wireless mouse to go with it. Does anyone have any experience of these, or could recommend one? I am looking to spend around £25 on it.

Also, what is the difference between an optical mouse and a laser mouse?

Optical mice tend to talk about using a red LED to provide the light source, whereas laser mice use an invisible laser - from what I can tell! The laser will be able to track at a higher dpi, but I don't think that is really an issue in most cases.

I've got the logitech RX-1000 and I really like it. It didn't cost that much either if I remember correctly.

Clean out of Mooses but do have a pair of Elks for transfer here.

A good all round wireless mouse for a good price is this one, the Logitech MX1000

Avoid the Logitech Revolution - it's problematic.
