wireless keyboard and mouse

I bought the Microsoft 4000 wireless keyboard and mouse package. The screen
saver will not come on. If I unplug the cords going to the computer from the
wireless transmitter the screen saver works. Is there some way to make the
screen saver work with this set up?

Assuming you have not moved the mouse, make sure the wireless receiver is
NOT located anywhere near anything electrical (e.g., your monitor, CPU,
router/modem, or desktop lamp).

Update to the lates drivers.

Get the HID update from Windows update..
