Wireless Mouse and Keyboard interrupting Screen Saver and Power Ma

I just got a combo wireless microsoft mouse and keyboard. Ever since I
installed the drivers my screen saver and power management (shutting down
monitor) hasn't worked. From the forums and discussions I've seen I am
really certain this is the problem. Does anyone know of any solutions?

If the wireless set is noisy that will be the side effect. Uninstall the
wireless.

Had same problem. Icalled Microsoft help desk and they fixed it. I had to go
into msconfig and click on startup tab and uncheck EHTRAY which was running
in the background not allowing my screensaver to come on. If this doesn't
work for you call Microsoft help desk and they can figure out what you may
have running in the background that interfers with screensaver and power
management.
