I have a new Acer Aspire 5630 and every time I start up the computer, and
sometimes when I log in, the wireless indicator light turns on and I have to
disable it by turning the switch off. I have disabled the wireless network
driver (when I check the settings it tells me it is disabled), so why does it
keep going on and how do I stop it?

Thanks Jacky. I've gotten to the administrative tools page, but I'm a bit
confused what to do now. Do I turn off Acer eAp Launch tool or try to change
the startup status for WLAN config to "manual" -- even though it's not
letting me do this? I don't see anything called "zero config," or anything
that seems to be specifically about the wireless startup. Can you give me a
more detailed idea of what to do? I appreciate it, truly.

A quick key shortcut to disconnect/reconnect is FN+F2 on most computers. Try
using Help in your wireless networking utility. That should have directions
for setting up manual connections.
