Wireless icon

Hello all,

We just set up a small access server 3com in our office.
It is a wireless router that connects all our
workstations. It is working fine, we have encryption,
SSID, etc enabled and all works great. My question is
this, the wireless icon that appears in the bottom right
of the corner is acting a little strange. Usually it
says that the connection is excellent or good but
sometimes it is crossed out with the red X and says that
the network connection is unavailable. However I am
still online, still can surf the internet etc.. so in
reality it works just fine.

My question is this, can you disable that warning down in
the right hand corner on the wireless icon, or is there
another way I can get around it. I see SP2 you can
disable it but the customer is not yet ready to install
SP2 on there system due to some config issues with an
older program

Thanks

Lisa

\ Explorer \ Advanced
3. Right-click an empty space in the right pane and select New > DWORD Value
4. Name the new value EnableBalloonTips
