Internet Connection Question

S

Sunny T.

There are four PCs in my household, parents, brother and sister.

Most of days, there are only two PCs using web-surf, e-mail and the like.
Sometimes, my Sis complains about 'too many PC wireless connection' that
causing 'slow-down' her surfing web.

When I'm NOT doing web-surf and e-mail, I do not need Internet/wireless
connection, but I see a tiny-pc with yellow-signals at its top indicating
'wireless connected' at the far right bottom corner.

Is there a way to disable 'wireless connected' while not doing web-surf?

Thanks for any help.

On laptops there is often a switch to disable the wireless connection. You
need to read your manual to see where it is. On desktops you can right-click
the wireless card, then disable it. You will find it in the Control Panel /
Network Connections.
