Wireless Connection Help

I have a wireless connection that I just set up. I used another wireless
network before, but now I want to switch to the new network. The laptop will
detect the router and the wireless network, but when I start Internet
Explorer, it says that the page can not be displayed, even though I am
connected to the network. What is the problem. Do I have to do something to
set up this new network to connect to the Internet?
