Afriend has recently switched her hard wired bt broadband for the similar wire free version for her laptop, again through bt via one of their routers, everything worked fine on the old system but since she installed the wirefree software and router it is now taking 20 minutes to connect and when it does connect it runs like a dog, painfully slow. Has anybody any idea why this is so as the signal strength looks ok.
 
Was the wired system completely removed before installing the wireless system? if not you have a conflict between them.
