WinXP Pro causing lots of problem .. pls help ..

ok .. first of all..... i need to ask ...can WinXP Pro play games? all the games i downloaded are corrupted when i try to install them... and it will suddenly jump out to Window mode when i play some games that i can install... secondly.. Window sometimes will restart itself ... what is the problem with WindowXP ? can anyone pls help me .. thanks..

I have played many games on XP
Pinball Quake
All or most of my win95, 98 games I copied over
The played with a few minor problems with basics drivers.
I found the drivers on the net with Google searches and
the games run.
I have over 100 old dos games all run.

I agree with what Hemlock says but if you're downloading games from the
internet then you must be sure you trust the source of the software else you
may install some unwanted viruses at the same time. Run an uptodate virus
checker on everything you download before using it.
