WinXP- IE hangs

I have client-server setup of my product.The Client is on
Win XP M/c with SP1a,IE 5.5.
When i launch my product help in IE browser and click on
the index and contents tabs on left pane of the window,the
window hangs,it fails to refresh.This happens mostly,when
i click second time on any of these tabs.This problem is
not happening on Win2K,Win NT machines.
Can anyone help me out with early reply?
