IE "hanging up"

I upgraded to IE 7, however this problem occurs in IE 6 for me. I can't even
pinpoint what causes it because it happens so often. When I am using IE the
window will freeze on me.

Hanging application iexplore.exe, version 7.0.5730.11, hang module hungapp,
version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

I am forced to use Mozilla Firefox as my browser because of this and I would
prefer to use IE. I have run my adaware, spybot and my antivirus software,
and nothing is found.

I can't even access Microsoft downloads or the forums via IE. I have to use
Firefox
