ntdll.dll error windows xp home programs close

I receive these errors frequently, when programs close unexpectedly. This
occurs while I'm using Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver or IE.
When I try to open a document inside or outside of "my documents" folder,
this happens and is really putting a damper on developing my website and just
working in general. Anyone have a clue? I know Macromedia has issues with xp
sp2 but they don't list this on their site. Nor does Adobe or Microsoft.

message only difference being the address # mine is 0x0002ae22 .Like you
its very random in both program and frequency. I spent 2 hrs on phone w/Dell
following all their dir. syst rest.etc.now they want me to clear my HD and
reinstall
XP Home from scratch. For now though I'm gonna wait to see if you come up with
any helpful replies. I'll keep my fingers X'ed.

Windows XP Pro SP2: Explorer.exe windows keep crashing even when not actively
in them. The Explorer.exe window is open in the background and it will
randomly crash. The screen goes blank for a second and the task bar and start
button disappear then come back.

I ran sfc /scannow to restore all invalid system files (No help)
I ran REGSVR32 NTDLL.DLL but got the error (RegSvr32 Ntdll.dll was loaded,
but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file can not be
registered.)

I have uninstalled Acrobat 8 and installed Acrobat 9. The problem seemed to
go away but appeared again just a little while ago.

I'm certain the Fix is a corrupt Context Menu handler. If I could find it
and delete it from the registry, it may work.
