HELP! I dont know what I did, but I get theis error STOP (unable to locate
component) this application has failed to start because winsrv was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem. Ok, I understand that,
but it won't let me reinstall anything, how can I get to safe mode, do
anything? I need to fix this fast. Please only give me solutions, not
websites, I've been to them, I cant run any downloads on the affected
computer. I need step by step help! Thanks!
Desperate!

You receive a "Stop: c0000135" and "winsrv was not found" error
message after you install Windows XP Service Pack 2

Hope this helps some. I don't know how to fix your prob but I know how to
get into safe mode.Close all open programs. In start menu go to RUN. in the
RUN dialog box type in msconfig and then click ok. In the SYSTEM CONFIG
UTILITY , click on the BOOT.INI tab and then click on SAFEBOOT then OK. When
asked to restart the computer, click restart. This may take a few minutes.
the pc will restart in safe mode. To get out of safe mode, repeat the RUN and
SYS CONFIG UTILITY and just click on normal to restart the pc back into
normal. This works on Windows XP . April
