winserver 2003 workgroup access from mac os X

I have been trying for days now to gain access from mac os x platform to my
workgroup on winserver 2003 share folders and xp. I do have access from xp
and winserver to my os x share files but not vis-versa. I did enable
appletalk protocol on my winserver withought any success. Can someone guide
me through the process? I got Dave program and got to a stage where I was
asked to mount volum with nothing to select. All my printers are mounted on
win platforms and was able to get them to work (have not yet try to print
from all of them but one seems to work fine). So, how can I change my
winserver conf in order to get access to my workgroup shared files from my
mac os x?

You don't need Appletalk or Dave if you have OSX....you should be able to
use SMB. Might want to post in m.p.win2000.macintosh?
