Hello!

I am unable to connect to Windows XP from Mac OS X 10.1.5, how do I
configure Windows to be seen from Mac?

In Winodows XP, I use ftp protocol to connect to Mac (activating the option
in the OS), but I don't want to share files but also printers installed in
XP (Mac OS X hasn't got anything, everythings are directly connected to
Windows).

I use DSL router using DHCP (XP by wireless and Mac connected by cable).

Thank you.

You need to have Samba running and properly configured on the Mac. Samba
is included with OSX. I believe you look in the Mac's network
configuration settings. You should also create user accounts and
passwords on the Mac identical to those on the XP box.

Thank you!

That was useful. But now I'm on holidays and can't tell you if that worked.
I'll prove it soon.

Thank you again.

Merry Christmas!
