I have huge problem with winmgmt.exe. It consumes over 100.000 handles and it is growing. I have applied all latest pacthes and latest SP. The OS is win 2k server. What could cause this leak

Could it be a virus? Google lists more than 600 hits for "winmgmt.exe
virus". Have you considered installing and maintaining a good virus scanner?
