WinDVD Install Problem

When I install WinDVD I get an error message that says
AppRegAgent.dll failed to register. I have gone to
InstallShield.com and updated installshield and numerous
other suggestions on the microsft site with no luck. Any
advise on how to solve this issue? And yes I have
contacted InterVideo, they say it is a Microsoft issue.

Have you tried to install it in safe mode?
