Windowsn Media Player always Ready

Hi,

Whenever I click the link to open an online radio station windows media
player within internet explorer just says Ready - it doesn't even begin to
buffer and doesn't play at all. Has anyone else experienced this recently?

I'm having the same problem when trying to stream Sirius Satellite, it
started about a week ago.. I'm suspecting a Windows Update broke something

Tried the 'reset' function in IE7, no good .. still looking for a solution..
system restore is not an option for me, but that might work, if it was indeed
a Windows Update that broke it.

If you rename the "Windows Media" folder at:
%appdata%\local\microsoft
, does online radio then work?
