.... um .... er ... ah ... oh ..... but ....
This was meant to be cutsy?

Turn off your popup stopper (or use Ctrl-mouseclick since that
temporarily disables many).

Install the Java virtual machine (java.sun.com).

Disable Yahoo companion see if it helps.
On some computer is does not allow new windows to open.

Disable your firewall, flush the browser's temp file cache, reload it,
and check if you still have the problem. If not, you'll need to review
your firewall's logfiles to see what it was blocking. If there is
nothing in its logfiles, it could be because some of its rules do not
have logging enabled.

okay...sounds good...but how do you disable your firewall
and clear browsers temp cache...?

Only you know what firewall you use. Don't know what version of Windows
you have. Windows XP has its ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) so
maybe that is what you are using. Use their Start -> Help to get info
on ICF. Could be you have a 3rd party firewall installed. You'll need
to read the manual or help included with that unidentified product. Or
maybe you don't have any firewall and decided to practice unsafe
surfing.

To purge the browser's temp file cache ... you've never done this
before? ... go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab -> Delete
files (and include offline content).
