Windows XP's Dialer.exe

Has any one figured out if XP(Home)can support a
conventional phone call (not an internet call)? I can
make it dial just fine, but once the connection is made
the system produces no sound(via headset)or accepts no
voice.

In addition to configuration, this depends upon the capabilities of your
modem. Here, I could never make it work both for talk and listen - at the
same time.
