windows xp

hi...my computer unpluged while it was on. when i pluged it back in and
turned on the computer i get a message asking how i want to start (safe
mode,SM w/networking,SM w/comand prompt,last known good conf,start window
normally). i tried all of them and it keeps displaying the same message.

can anyone help?

thanks for getting back to me...the only problem is i can not type
anything...it goes directly to that screen and won't let me do anything...is
there a reset buttom?

Start the PC and continuously tap the F8 key to see if you can boot in safe
mode. If yes, then reboot and see if the error condition has cleared.
