windows XP start up problem

Hi, there,
I got a strange problem with my windows xp startup.
It can start quickly every time. But when double click "my computer", it
takes over 3 minutes to show up the contents. During that time, a blank
window and a searching flashlight is there.
I checked the task manager, no abnormal process.

Could any body tell the problem?
Thanks
Bryan

Yong,

Click Start, Run and type Services.msc
In the Services (Local) list, right-click Windows Image Acquisition (WIA), and then click Stop
For more information, and for other workarounds, see Q819017
