When attempting to boot computer, windows will begin to load and then give a
blue screen with the following:
STOP OXoooooo8E (OXC0000005, OXF800EC18, OXF7CB0954, OX0000000)
NU4_mini.sys - address F800EC18 base at F7E4000
Date Stamp 4074b958

System will restart automatically and do the same thing...will not boot up.

Thanks in advace for any help.

You have a typo in your post:

NU4_mini.sys should be NV4_mini.sys. This is a Nvidia video card driver.

Have you just installed a new graphics card?

What is your computer make and model?

What is your Windows XP CD as it is described on the face of the CD?

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response Gerry,

The computer is a "shop built" unit about 5 years old. I upgraded it to XP
Home Edition Sp2 about a year ago. The XP CD is, of course, an upgrade
version. I have not installed any hardware at all. I did install MS Live
Onecare about a week ago, but I don't think it contributed to the problem. I
have tried a repair booting by CD but it will not complete the process. Any
assistance will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Calvin
