I have Windows XP Home Edition and don't know which
security udate to install. Can you give me the number ?
is it 823980 and where can I find it? I've looked at the
updates for this and I can not find out which to use.

On the Windows update site, there is a green arrow which

you must click. Your computer will be scanned for the
necessary updates. When this is done, click on the
critical updates. These are the necessary patches you need
to install.
