Windows XP Security Center Alert Icon

I am using Windows XP with sp3.
Recently security center icon has lodged on system tray.
How do I get rid of it?

There is no SP3 for Windows XP yet. If you installed anything called
SP3, you're either running beta software and are part of the beta
program or you installed something unknown. If you are part of the beta
program, you should be reporting what you see through the established
channels.

Click on the Security Center icon and see what it says is the problem so
you can rectify the issue.

I get the shield constantly. I click on it and it
just goes away. No message nothing.
