Windows XP Restarts When I shutdown, Able to shutdown in Safe Mode

When I shutdown my Windows XP the system gets restarted. But I am able to
shutdown my system in Safe Mode. When I uncheck the Automatic Restart When OS
fails. I get a error message.
---------------------------------------
Technical Information :

*** STOP : 0X0000007E(0XC0000005,0XFAE91941,OXFAFF89C0,0XFAFF86C0)

*** kbdclass.sys - address FAE91941 base at FAE910000, Date Stamp 3d6ddod3

---------------------------------------

When I checked for these drivers, it is the drivers installed for keyboard.
I have tried uninstalling the drivers. Then also the problem was not solved.

My computer is behaving like this recently only. Another thing is that my
STAND BY mode is disabled. I have tried restoring OS to past days also.

Thanks in Advance.

Have you tried using a different keyboard on that computer?

Good luck

If you have a Logitech keyboard or mouse then the following article in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base may be relevant:
