quite...apparently...after i DO (if i do) get windows XP up and running...i
still need to find a way to restore my 250 GB harddrive...make DVD burner
work... (i can't put my homework on anything else)

ok...should be interesting...tried my CD...lost the other part of hd...not
fair...methinks its magnet time :]

Hey, I've received the same error message when I try to start up my computer
(dell dimension 2400 XP home). I looked at that article but it assumes that
you can get into the Recovery console. I can get it started, and then it
asks which windows installation I would like to log on to. I choose my HD,
since there's only 1 option, the C: drive, but after about a 1/2 second the
blue screen with the stop: 0x00000051 REGISTRY_ERROR pops back up. Does this
mean it's impossible to recover from? Or do I have any other options?

Thanks
Casey Gorish
