Registry Error

I'm getting a registry error on my laptop. This happened right after Windows
performed a windows update.

Error message is as follows:

STOP: 0x00000051 (0x00000004, 0x00000001, 0x0E191B7A0, 0x000B5D98)

This is an IBM Thinkpad with XP Professional on it.

Hi,

I don't think it's a "registry error", I think you are confusing the term
"registers" with this. Registers are on the processor itself and are used to
hold the data used in performing the current calculation. The error messages
is showing you the error code (0x51) and the contents of the four major
registers (eax-edx).

Have you tried uninstalling the most recent Windows Updates since they seem
to coincide with it?
