I've had two computers with exactly the same problem in the past 7 days.

The symptoms are, the machine will boot to the desktop and then reboot ad infinitum. I've "cured" them with an over the top re-install but it bugs me that I don't know why it's happened.
  1. Has anyone else had this and do they know what it may be?
  2. Both times after the re-install, after booting up, a programme called PhotoGallery is trying to install itself. Anyone know what to what programme PhotoGallery installer is referring? I think it may be something to do with HP software.

Install CCleaner ... go to Tools/Startup ... if it is in there, delete it.

You could use Sentinels ProcessExplorerNT to, it will give you loads of info on what is being loaded.

;)
