Hi All,

my friend asked me if I ever encountered the following problem:

"I have windows XP and alot of times when I just boot up my PC, when I
click on a window, like for example outlook express, it will
highlight all the windows on my screen and open them all. It only does
this about once a week and I can reboot and it is ok. Do you have any idea
what is causing that. My e-mail will do the same, when I click on a message
to open, it highlights them all".

I personally never had this problem/issue (knock on wood). Anyone any
ideas what might cause this problem?
It seems both her and her hubby and her have wireless keyboards and mice,
and the PC`s are close to each other, but does that make sense?

Would appreciate any feedback!

Best regards,
Ellen

Hi Ellen,

Simple. The Shift key on the Wireless keyboard sometimes sticks or any
keyboard, if defective.

No need to reboot, just hit the Left Shift Key a few times, to loosen up
the key. The Shift key, when you hold it down while left clicking the mouse
button, ends the area that you select, by holding down the left key and
moving the mouse to select areas of text. And the next left key opens up the
icon, if selected. And if alot of icons are selected, attempts to open all
up at once.

Okay, at times life is si simple!!

I will let my friend know!

Thanks so much, thecreator
