Windows XP Professional CD scratched

I was wondering if microsoft would provide another disc if I gave them my
info off the box and the key and such. Is this possible? My other disc is
scratched and wont install right..

Excepting if it's an OEM cd in which case you have to call origonal supplier

Yes, but they may require a fee. They will need the product code.

If they won't or can't replace it, you could try getting a copy from a
friend and using that. If you can't do that, you could try one of those
repair kits. Depending on how deep the scratches are, the kit may help.
Usually it has a light abrasive that polishes htt surface and smoothes out
the edges of the scratch so that it doens't dflect the laser beam and
becomes more readable.
