In my Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop, most of the time system try tooltip goes
background. Any reason/work around to fix it?

According to my knowledge, I always use this:

Click Start - point to All Programs - right-click on any Item and choose
Sort by Name. Now, check the Tool Tips and they will appear on front side.

Have heared of it that in the coming Service Pack 3 this bug has also been
fixed?

Hope this help, let us know!

1. Right click the taskbar, choose properties, and uncheck the checkbox that
says "Keep task bar on top of other windows".
2. Click Apply
3. Check the checkbox again.
4. Click Apply again.

This will temporarily make the system work right again, but you will have to
repeat these steps if it happens in the future.

Update: Neosmart has created a small application that will fix this problem.
The only thing is that the application will need to be running all the time,
but if you have this problem often enough, you won't care.

Yes! This worked! But I don't wanted my task bar to go backside of opened
window.
Thanks for helping out.

1. Right-click on an empty area of Taskbar and click on Properties
2. Make a check mark on "Keep the taskbar on the top of other windows"

Hope this help, let us know!

You always have to run the Sort - by name command on All Programs menu and
Keep the Taskbar top on the top other windows checked.

This is the default behavior in Windows XP SP2 and may be it is being solved
in next release i.e. Windows XP Service Pack 2 - Release Candidate 1.

Sorry for delay in response and hope this help, let us know!
