Windows XP pro restarting itself?

I have had windows xp pro for just over a week now and it
is randomly restarting itself?

What would cause this and how do i fix it?

It's possible you have a worm on your machine; do a scan with current (not
later than 2002) antivirus program with all necessary updates and see if the
problem is resolved.

Mine did this sam thing. I scanned for viruses and there were none found. What the problem is for me is the drivers for my usb are not up to date. If your computer shuts down and then reboots with and error, driver error specifically then this is the problem.
