Seems to crash all of the time. You can go and launch
Explorer and go to the profile directories and by clicking
on a few of the folders Explorer will either error out or
just close altogether, with nothing on the desktop for ~5
seconds before displaying all desktop icons.
Hi - Unfortunately, this isn't enough information to get a really good
answer. However, do the first troubleshooting steps for Windows:
1) Scan with current antivirus ("current" means a version not earlier
than 2002 but using updated virus definitions); and 2) remove spyware
with Spybot Search & Destroy (
www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware
(
www.lavasoftusa.com). Be sure to update these programs before running,
and it is a good idea to do virus/spyware scans in Safe Mode. When you
know your machine is free of any viruses and other malware, if the
problem still persists, then please repost. Include details about your
system, how you are connecting to the Internet (method and ISP), and
what you've already done to troubleshoot the problem.
Happy New Year,
Malke
