I've upgraded from ME to XP and for more times than I can
count, I've had to reinstall XP Home edition so many times
it's crazy. I keep getting the option to boot in safe mode
or last known configurations, but when I choose either or,
it goes back to screen. Has anyone experienced that
problemn, and if so, what can i do about it?? I finally go
fed up with it and went back to ME.

Frank...
It may be that your Windows XP OS contracted a virus. Please refer to the
following website for additonal information:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/
Also, you may want to make sure that you are up to date as far as Windows
Update is concerned as well as having anti-virus software installed. The
minimum, if you do not have anti-virus software is to enable the Interner
Connection Firewall. All of this information can be found at the above
website.

Hope this helps!
