Windows XP Home Login Problem

Got a PC that after I log in, it tells me it's loading my settings, flashes
my wallpaper for a second, then tells me it's saving my settings, and takes
me back to the log in screen. Can't even boot under safe mode. Any
suggestions?

Did you find the fix for this? My system is doing the same thing, after I did
a Live Update from Norton.
