whenever i startup my notebook, the following error
message appear 'tcp/ip network transport not install'.
How do I go about resoloving this problem.

You should be able to install TCP/IP from Start - Settings - Network Connections
- Local Area Network - (right click) - Properties - Install - Protocol - TCP/IP{
should be in the list. You may need your Windows install CD.
