Windows XP Help Area Missing All Text

Out of nowhere, and even after reverting to several restore points, my Help
and Support Center only shows the green boxes with arrows. When I place the
mouse pointer over any of the green boxes I can tell what it does and it
works; however, no text appears on the Help screen. I tried to reinstall
just the Help and Support Center but no such installation option exists. I
also don't want to reinstall Windows XP because with my luck it will screw
up the myriad apps we have installed over the past 3 years. We're running
SP2 on the machine, and there are no viruses, spyware, or ad ware.
