Help and support search window empty

Anybody seen a problem like this?

I had a system with Windows XP SP1 installed. I downloaded and installed
Service Pack 2.

Now, when I go to the Help and Support Center and type something in the search
window, the Search Results window comes up empty. This happens no matter what
topic I type in the search window.

I've tried searching the MS knowledge base and have reinstalled SP2 without any
result.

Here are a few things to try:

Line 345. Dialog Boxes are Blank - Winnt - Windows

Go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm and click "H", scroll
down to the "Help and Support" section.

Thanks for the tip.

I visited the website, and followed the instructions for uninstalling and
reinstalling the Help & Support Center, which was the only fix that seemed
relevant to my situation. It didn't solve the problem.

It's not worth the hassle anymore. I really don't need keyword searches that
badly. If the subject is indexed, I can look it up. I'll just write it off as
another Windows feature that doesn't work the way it's supposed to.

Thanks again for your help.

Phil
