Windows XP Error Message re Internet Pages

When retreiving certain web pages (particularly fantasy
football data), I receive an error message titled "Java
Plug-in 1.4.2" that says "Java plug-in 1.4.2 is not
installed properly". There doesn't seem to be any help in
the Knowledge Base. Can someone tell me how to correct
this situation? I am running XP Pro with IE 6.0.

Go to the following site to check if Java is installed on your system:

If not, go to www.java.com and download install Java, start with the "Get it
Now" button.

That is the Sun Java - consult Sun support in the matter
