Hello, I had a problem with my pc. Called for help which took a 2 hour phone
call to India. After my problem was solved another arose. When checking my
email I receive a "login failure." Everything I read on the web suggests it's
firewall security issue. In the mean time I'm receiving no email. Can
anyone help me fix this? Thanks kindly.

'login failure'?

Have you checked with your ISP/email provider and verified your email
username/password/configuration of whatever application you are utilizing as
an email client?

How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

Yes. Both are correct.

This is unlikely to be a Windows problem.

I usually find that this is a problem between the account credentials and
the mail server.

Yet they produce a login failure.

Verify both with the web mail client. What *is* the mail client?
Usually, there will be some way to read the specific error messages, and
they are needed. If you want to verify that it isn't Windows, try that
account info on another system.

You may find that it's necessary to change your mail password at the ISP,
and then upate it at the mail client.
