windows xp does not recognize usb card reader

XP professional is not recognizing USB card reader. The
same card reader is beiing recognized by another machine
running windows xp. I suspect the problem is due to
upgrading from xp home to xp pro, though I am just
guessing as I did not try to connect the usb card reader
when using xp home. Any clues???

You may have to reinstall the drivers for the USB Card Reader. If the
reader came with a Software CD then select the
correct OS (WinXP Drivers).
