Windows XP Changes

For about a month the window which pops up when a CD is put in the drive or a
USB device inserted asking what you want to do ie open files, play this with
Windows Media Player etc has stopped appearing. I've got no idea why? Does
anyone know?

There should have been a check box that you can select which says 'always
chose this action' maybe you/someone inadvertently 'checked' the box -sorry
though, not sure how to undo the action - if that indeed is what happened!x
